Large 18.5-by-8-inch tires roll smoothly over rough ground and resist flats. The wheel assembly uses a four-bolt hub with tapered bearings for reliable field performance. Heavy-duty oil-bath gearboxes and a hexagonal drive shaft keep power flowing where it needs to go.

Each rotor carries six flat bar tine arms with asymmetrical tines that pick up hay cleanly across 9 feet 7 inches of working width.
