Position Summary: Pequea is looking for an experienced Welder skilled in MIG welding to join our production team. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a strong sense of pride in one’s work. The ideal candidate will be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings, consistently inspect their own welds, ensuring every piece meets Pequea’s rigorous standards, and will work effectively both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel components with precision and accuracy.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before moving on to the next phase of production.
• The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication abilities, with the skill to read, interpret, and understand blueprints accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related challenges as needed.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a welding trade school program is preferred.
• 2-4 years of MIG welding experience, ideally in a manufacturing or heavy machinery environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks for efficiency.
• Basic understanding of agricultural or industrial equipment is a plus.
